DIY RAINBOW POM-POMS
DIFFICULTY: INTERMEDIATE
TIME: 10 MINUTES
1. Use your larger stencil to create a circle on your piece of cardboard
3. Carefully cut along the circle you made with your larger stencil
5. Cut out the inner circle and your triangle cut. You should be left with a shape roughly resembling a ‘C’
7. Wrap your yarn around your cut out shapes until you have a large lump of yarn on them

Supplies:

Cardboard

Two (2) circle stencils/items to make large circle & smaller circle within the large one

Pen or pencil

Scissors
-
Yarn (rainbow colored if you want rainbow pom-poms
2. Use your smaller stencil to make a circle in the middle of the larger one
4. Cut a small triangle towards the middle of your smaller circle
6. Repeat steps 1-5 and create a shape matching your first ‘C’
8. Once you have accumulated a large amount of yarn on your cardboard, place your scissors in-between your two pieces of cardboard & begin cutting through the whole shape. Make sure to keep your yarn from falling out of the gap you cut
9. Take a separate piece of yarn and wrap it around your cut yarn, in between the two pieces of cardboard, and tie it as tight as possible
10. Remove the cardboard from your pom-pom
11. If needed, use your scissors to even up your pom-pom to make it a round ball
